VolkerFitzpatrick is part of VolkerWessels UK, a multi-disciplinary construction and civil engineering group operating across the UK in six operating companies. 

We are now looking for a Planner to join the team for our project at Jersey Airport.

This is a full time role to join an expanding part of the VolkerFitzpatrick Building business. Must have good solid NEC experience and demonstrate an understanding of programme and contract obligations under NEC option 3. The ideal candidate will be able to work within a large team and communicate to all levels of project & client team. The role will report to the project lead, and also support all operational and commercial functions of the team.

The main scope of the project is the upgrade of existing arrivals/ departure/ baggage handling/ passenger terminals inclusive of CAT A/B fit out.

Key Accountabilities:

• Support the Project Manager in ensuring that the Contract programme is developed and routinely maintain progress with the Project Manager
• Support the Project Manager in ensuring the logic linked Contract programme is issued and agreed

Required qualifications / Expertise:

• Expert in use of Asta Powerproject and Microsoft Excel
• Good communicator
• Knowledge and understanding of construction detailing and management
